Oil cleaning
The Alfa Laval MIB 503 is designed to purify distillate, marine diesel oil and lubricating oil. Easy and cost-efficient to maintain, it provides exceptional oil cleaning performance for superyachts with up to 5 MW of engine power.
Oil filtration
The Alfa Laval 180 range of automatic self-cleaning filters builds on innovative Alfa Laval Atrium 2.0 technology, which allows continuous backflushing with virtually no pressure drop. It provides a large filtering area while taking up less space than traditional alternatives.
Oily water separation
Alfa Laval PureBilge Compact is a fully automated centrifugal separation system that cleans oily water effectively at sea. With options to reduce oil pollution below 5 ppm –far tougher than the 15 ppm IMO requirement – it sets a new standard in making water safe for discharge overboard.
Heating and cooling
Alfa Laval marine heat exchangers draw on more than 100 years of innovation in heating and cooling technology. Compact and energy-efficient, they offer superyacht owners the highest thermal performance while occupying a minimum of space on board.
Freshwater generation
The Alfa Laval AQUA Blue Mini E1 freshwater generator is a compact, highly efficient solution for freshwater needs of 1–15 m3 per day. Needing little space or electrical energy, it provides a smarter alternative to bunkering or reverse osmosis for superyachts.
Ballast water management
Alfa Laval PureBallast 3 Yacht Edition ensures freedom to sail in the widest range of waters. Chemical-free and fully automated, it excels in any water salinity or temperature, yet it requires little from the crew. The system is delivered skid-mounted as a plug-and-play module with a minimal footprint.
Tank cleaning
Alfa Laval provides Scanjet tank cleaning machines that prevent sediment build-up and reduce corrosion in superyacht greywater tanks. The high-impact jet combined with 360° rotary movement create a criss-cross pattern that covers all tank walls.
Tank level gauging
Alfa Laval offers Scanjet level gauging equipment for monitoring the level in all tanks on board. The solutions, which include flood detection equipment in accordance with MED regulations, are interfaced with the loading calculator to support overall vessel stability.
